MARTY PENNER, OPERATIONS AND GROWTH

Marty manages the business affairs at MCM, keeping the bills paid, the lights on and the practice growing. Marty’s most important role is helping translate the mission and values of MCM into real and practicable application. You may meet Marty at the practice, or see him out in the community finding ways to build and support partnerships with other small businesses, schools and groups. He has played a variety of communications-focused roles in the social sector, from conflict resolution in Israel/Palestine to microfinance in India and East Africa, and continues to be heavily involved with social entrepreneurship as a member of the team at Upaya Social Ventures. Also, if Marty reminds you of your chiropractor, it’s because he and Dr Penner are fraternal twins.

CHRISTYE ESTES, FRONT DESK AND PATIENT RELATIONS

When you walk through our doors, it’s Christye you’ll see “wo-manning” the front desk. Christye’s in charge of billing, patient relations, and making sure your experience at MCM is an all-around enjoyable one. In addition to answering the phone and scheduling your appointment (always with a smile!), Christye is also our resident insurance expert. She knows that understanding your insurance benefits can be tricky, and works hard to ensure you get the most possible value out of your health insurance. When she’s not wrangling the front desk, you’ll probably find Christye at Mulleady’s trivia night with friends, ordering the Cowardly Apricot pizza from Zaw, and training to improve her half-marathon PR—with helpful running tips from Dr. Penner.
